About // who we are

Engineers first. Everything else second.

Zilk exists because we got tired of tool sprawl, alert noise, and platforms that hold your data hostage. So we built our own — and kept building.

Our story

Zilk started inside a working network operations practice. Managing multi-vendor infrastructure — Fortinet firewalls next to Cisco switches next to Linux servers — meant juggling five tools, three syslog collectors, and a spreadsheet of CLI commands nobody could remember.

We built the first version of our tools for ourselves: a monitoring system that didn't charge per device, a terminal that knew every vendor's commands, an AI that could read a wall of diagnostic output and say what was actually wrong.

Those tools became products. Today the Zilk line covers network monitoring, multi-vendor operations, web security assessment, payment automation, and open-source diagnostics — all engineered to the same standard: self-hostable, API-first, compliance-grade, and honest about what they do.

// what_we_believe

  • Your data is yours. Self-hosted options for everything we build; no telemetry, no lock-in.
  • AI should reduce noise, not add it. Fewer, smarter alerts beat dashboards full of red.
  • Security is a default, not a tier. MFA, RBAC, encryption, and audit logs in every product, every plan.
  • Ship real things. Every feature runs on our own infrastructure before it ships to yours.
